GATHER IDEAS
As I wasn't able to attend the tutorial in class due to medical circumstances the first step for this poster wasn't gathering lots of ideas and developing from lots of peoples feedback, it was about developing existing designs that I had to throw away previously.
DEVELOPED IDEAS
From an idea of words to create images, I thought that it would be an appropriate time to contrast the positive words of the haiku - liquid of life - with the harsh reality of the plastic pollution. I started to gather a storyline in my head for this movie, where it talks about the reality of plastic.
FINAL DESIGN SKETCH
This final sketch was created from stakeholder feedback. It was important to me that other people found this poster eye-catching because after all, it is a film poster!
STETCH
I decided to sketch my drawing on my final poster page. I decided to do this as photoshop and illustrator are new to me. I never really experimented with digital tools. It was vital for me to portray my design as best I could, so I thought sketching first was the best.
PHOTOSHOP & ILLUSTRATOR
Every film poster you tend to see had some digital element to it, so I thought it was essential to give this a go. I alternated between both illustrator and photoshop as I am new to both and was limited to what I could achieve.
FINISH
Once digitalising my design and adding text, I thought it would only be appropriate to ask for feedback. Lectures and peers gave me feedback to help me develop my design and colour scheme. I adjusted it slightly and then I was complete.
